Flights

Flights are used to stabilize the dart as it flies toward the board.  Different style flights have differing effects on how the dart arcs and lands.  You will have to try different styles to see which works best for your game.  There are a couple of things to keep in mind, though:

1.  Maintain your flights.  Frayed or bent flights will not perform well and will impact your game.

2.  Make sure the flight is completely opened so that all four fins are equidistant.  Since these are the flight stabilizers, you want each dart to fly the same way.

3.  The use of "flight protectors" can extend the life of your flights and keep them properly opened.
